Location: 1500 Washington St. Boston, MA Hours/week: 40 hours per week Exemption: Exempt Pay Range: $1,080 - $1,400 per week starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications The Director is responsible for fostering an environment that allows children, their families, and the staff to develop to their full potential. The Director is accountable for program operation, incorporating The Salvation Army culture, philosophies, policies, and development of an inclusive environment and positive relationships with parents/guardians, children, families, and clients. Although the Director will be accountable for each of the responsibilities outlined below, Director roles will vary dependent on center/school size, structure, and client relationship. Directors are encouraged to delegate responsibilities as is appropriate. Directors will review important decisions with the Corps Officer (s) and Early Education Program Manager and be responsive to the requirements of Divisional Headquarters and EEC.
