Kids Club Attendant
About The Position
The Princess Anne Country Club is looking for a kid’s club attendant year-round for weekday mornings. Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to: Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs Engage with children in activities and play Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., restroom use, diapering, hand washing) Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times Approach parents daily and speak with them about their child(ren), establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service Maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children Vacuum, wipe down and take out trash at the end of every shift Keeping records of members and children’ hours and food charges
Requirements
- Be ready for shift 15 minutes before babysitting officially opens
- Have dependable transportation
- Be customer service orientated and professional
- Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences
- Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, and carry children of various weight
- Be a positive role model for all caregiving staff and children
- Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times
- If time is going to be missed contact supervisor two weeks in advance of the dates that you will miss
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old
