About The Position

The Child Care position at Gold's Gym involves caring for children in a designated area of the gym for attending members. The role requires positive interaction with children in an age-appropriate manner and organizing recreational and educational activities such as games, drawing, handicrafts, and reading. Maintaining discipline and controlling behavior is essential, along with keeping security records for individual children and ensuring that all children have a registration form on file. The position also involves organizing and storing toys and materials to maintain order in the Kids Club area, as well as supporting children's emotional and social development by encouraging understanding of others and fostering positive self-concepts.

Requirements

• Excellent communication with children required.
• Excellent communication with adult parent(s) required.
• Have the ability to make children feel secure.

Nice To Haves

• Looking for someone during the week in the mornings (8AM-12:30PM) and on the weekends in the morning (8AM-12PM).

Responsibilities

• Care for children in a defined area of the gym for the attending member(s).
• Interact with the children in a positive and age appropriate manner.
• Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handicrafts, and reading to children.
• Maintain discipline with the children and initiate other measures to control behavior.
• Keep security records on individual children ensuring that all children have a registration form on file.
• Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in Kids Club area.
• Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and supporting positive self-concepts.
