About The Position
We’re looking for upbeat, responsible team members to join our Kids Central staff! In this role, you’ll engage with parents, supervise children, and create a safe, playful, and nurturing environment that supports social and developmental growth. Applicants must be available all-day Tuesday, Thursday, Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday mornings, starting January 2026. Bring your energy, responsibility, and love of working with kids to the Y!
Responsibilities
- Greet caregivers and children
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe, positive way
- Support developmental play and maintain order
- Keep the space clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and respond to emergencies
- Attend trainings and model core YMCA values
