About The Position

Elevation Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Cardio Boxing / Cardio Kickboxing Instructor to lead fun, safe, and engaging classes designed for individuals of mixed ages. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse range of clientele and be able to modify exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels and mobility needs.

Requirements

Certification in Group Fitness or Boxing/Kickboxing (e.g., AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, SilverSneakers, Rock Steady Boxing, etc.).
Experience leading fitness classes for adults with ages ranging 30-70 years of age is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of group fitness principles, including class design, progressive warm-ups and cool downs, and inclusive scaling of exercise.
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
Excellent communication, patience, and motivational skills.
Ability to create a fun, engaging atmosphere while ensuring safety.
CPR Certification Required
Group Exercise Instructor certification or the equivalent thereof
Certificate of Liability Insurance

Responsibilities

Lead safe, moderate-intensity cardio boxing and kickboxing classes focusing on movement, coordination, and cardiovascular health.
Provide modifications and alternative movements for participants of all fitness levels.
Encourage proper form, breathing techniques, and controlled movement to minimize injury risk.
Foster a supportive, motivating, and fun environment that promotes confidence and engagement.
Educate participants on the benefits of boxing-inspired workouts for balance, cognitive function, cardiovascular health and overall well-being.
Ensure a safe workout space, including proper warm-ups and cooldowns.
Adapt instruction based on participant feedback and physical capabilities.
Use the Elevation portal to manage & check in all participants for classes.
Perform other duties as assigned
