About the position

This position involves overseeing our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback 'happy hour' to ensure exceptional experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and lobby area, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your role is crucial in promoting the Drury culture through integrity, service, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and clean-up.
  • Ensure the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
  • Meet food safety standards and ensure supplies are fully stocked.
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality.
  • Answer guest's questions using knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.
  • Provide courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and hotel services.
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
  • Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests.
  • Ability to speak and receive direction in English.
