About The Position

The Kickback Host at Drury Hotels is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere during the complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback happy hour for guests. This role involves food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and lobby areas, ensuring food safety standards, and providing exceptional guest service. The position emphasizes the importance of hospitality and teamwork in delivering a positive experience for both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hotel accommodations and services.
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
  • Warm and friendly communication skills with guests.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English.

Responsibilities

  • Make the 5:30 p.m. Kickback happy hour enjoyable for guests.
  • Oversee food preparation and clean-up for the Kickback event.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and lobby area.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met and supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Promote the Drury culture through high standards of integrity and service.
  • Answer guest questions regarding hotel accommodations, local area, and events.
  • Provide courteous and friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude.
