About The Position

In this role, you will perform Drug Utilization Review and Pre-verification workflow steps while supporting clinical initiatives such as Medication Therapy Management (MTM), adherence programs, and other initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes in a centralized, closed-door pharmacy setting. You will ensure the highest quality, accuracy, and efficiency in the delivery of patient prescriptions throughout the customer experience and interaction with the host pharmacy. Additionally, you will direct technicians in areas of accuracy, workflow, and KHC activities, while overseeing the associated record-keeping activities. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Proven leadership experience
• Valid Pharmacist License
• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of store pharmacy experience
• Experience in mail order pharmacy
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Willingness to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills
• Experience in verifying new and refill medications

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in prescription delivery.
• Direct technicians in accuracy, workflow, and KHC activities.
• Oversee record-keeping activities associated with pharmacy operations.
• Verify prescriptions issued by prescribers for accuracy.
• Reconcile drug-drug or drug-disease interactions prior to filling prescriptions.
• Maintain established procedures for quality assurance and safety programs.
• Communicate operational issues and suggestions to Pharmacy Supervisor and Operations Manager.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new pharmacists and associates.
