The Key position at Outback Steakhouse plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house team and management within a single restaurant. The Key will also support and coach front-of-house staff in delivering excellent customer service, balancing the needs of both front- and back-of-house teams to enhance operational efficiency. Handling routine customer issues, completing server check-outs, and managing tip reporting are also essential tasks. At the end of the shift, the Key is responsible for closing the restaurant and securing the premises, as well as participating in various operational activities such as marketing and training. The position requires a commitment to maintaining high employment quality standards consistent with Bloomin' Brands policies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and actively participating as a member of the management team.
