About The Position

The Key Personnel/Executive Protection Specialist is responsible for daily execution of key personnel security services surrounding the safety, security, and privacy of designated executives, their dependents, and company assets as assigned (primarily in the NYC area). This position leads or supports the planning, coordination, and execution of protective operations — including secure transport, residential and event protection, and travel security. The role requires discretion, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks in dynamic environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in executive protection, military, or law enforcement protective operations.
  • Experience working in a corporate, multinational, or high-profile environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of protective operations, threat assessment, surveillance detection, and emergency response.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; defensive/evasive driving certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and travel (domestic and international).
  • Current and maintained firearms qualification with licensing to jurisdiction legally applicable for private sector setting (retired law enforcement officer permissibility to carry status alone is not sufficient)

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive protection programs, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate security strategies.
  • Conduct advanced work and risk assessments for all movements, events, and travel involving protected persons.
  • Coordinate secure transportation logistics, driver selection, and route planning.
  • Oversee or directly perform protective duties in the field, ensuring a low-profile, customer-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Corporate Security, Travel, HR, Legal, Communications) and external partners (law enforcement, private security vendors).
  • Manage incident response, emergency protocols, and contingency planning for executive movements and residences.
  • Maintain situational awareness through protective intelligence, open-source monitoring, and threat analysis.
  • Conduct residential and office security assessments and implement recommended countermeasures.
  • Provide security briefings to executives, family members, and staff regarding travel, personal safety, and current threats.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.
  • Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
