About The Position

Sam Edelman is seeking a confident, proactive, and trend-savvy Key Holder to join their highly creative and forward-thinking team. This role focuses on providing a world-class customer experience within a luxury or contemporary fashion brand environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong sales-driver who enjoys working on the sales floor with both the team and clients, contributing to an inviting and customer-first shopping experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail store sales, customer service/hospitality environment, and/or a combination of applicable experience in a comparable brand environment
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
  • Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers, as needed
  • Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall shopping experience for all Sam Edelman Clients utilizing the “The Sam Style” model, and providing an inviting world class experience with a customer-first approach. Actively engage and build relationships with customers.
  • Assist store leadership with executing product placement and visual standards consistent with company guideline and expectation. Keep the store clean, organized, safe and easily shoppable.
  • Meet performance metrics by exhibiting a passion and enthusiasm for the brand and embracing and promoting company initiatives, contests and strategies. Deliver clear, concise and timely communication to Store Team & Store Sales Manager.
  • Engage in a professional store culture where all associates’ contributions are valued, respected and appreciated.
  • Complete other projects and assignments as directed by management.
