About The Position

The retail key holder position upholds and embodies East Fork Pottery’s high standards for person-centered, tailor-fit customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively work with the Store Manager & fellow team members to help meet and exceed monthly sales goals, while promoting the East Fork atmosphere. In order to help ensure all aspects of this position are performed as expected, there will be regularly scheduled performance reviews. This full-time position reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years retail experience

Responsibilities

  • Implement strategies from manager to reach monthly sales goals
  • Lead by example on sales floor to drive sales and support team in meeting daily goals
  • Be able to speak knowledgeably about every product we carry in our store
  • Demonstrate selling and product knowledge strategies to determine the customer's needs and offer suggestions or alternatives
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care
  • Build genuine, lasting relationships with customers via quality interpersonal interactions
  • Serve as an extension of the brand by aligning with East Fork Mission, Vision and Values
  • Make sure all customer facing interactions are value aligned
  • Have a good working knowledge of the technical aspects of our operation as it applies to customer inquiries
  • Open and close the store according to task list
  • Accurately handle cash, returns, and POS transactions including daily cash reconciliation and reporting
  • Relay inventory/supply needs to Store Manager in a timely manner
  • Maintain general organization and cleanliness of storefront and storage rooms including visual merchandising standards
  • Assist with floor moves, seasonal displays and product placement as directed by Store Visual Merchandiser
  • Assist Store Manager in receiving orders and processing shipment
  • Support in-store events, promotions, or community engagement efforts
  • Follow proper security procedures to protect employees, customers, and company assets
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Other tasks as needed
