Sam Edelman has an incredible opportunity for a Key Holder to join our highly creative, forward-thinking team in providing a world class customer experience! We seek someone who is confident, proactive and trend-savvy with previous experience working with a luxury or contemporary fashion brand. You’re perfect for this position if you’re a strong sales-driver who enjoys spending time on the floor working with your team and clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail store sales, customer service/hospitality environment, and/or a combination of applicable experience in a comparable brand environment
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
  • Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers, as needed
  • Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
  • Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall shopping experience for all Sam Edelman Clients utilizing the “The Sam Style” model, and providing an inviting world class experience with a customer-first approach.
  • Actively engage and build relationships with customers.
  • Assist store leadership with executing product placement and visual standards consistent with company guideline and expectation.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, safe and easily shoppable.
  • Meet performance metrics by exhibiting a passion and enthusiasm for the brand and embracing and promoting company initiatives, contests and strategies.
  • Deliver clear, concise and timely communication to Store Team & Store Sales Manager.
  • Engage in our professional store culture where all associates’ contributions are valued, respected and appreciated
  • Completes other projects and assignments as directed by management.
