About The Position

Ready to ditch the traditional and dive into a world of play? CAMP, a Family Experience store in King of Prussia, is looking for a Part-Time Key Holder to be a leader and a magic-maker on our floor. You won't just manage a store; you'll be responsible for creating a joyful, unforgettable adventure for every family, ensuring they leave excited to return! As a Key Holder, you are the heartbeat of the store, overseeing both the magical customer experience and daily operational excellence. We empower you to use your expertise and unique personality to customize the CAMP experience, giving you the freedom to decide: What products to demo and what stories to tell families. The best way to utilize your unique talents to amplify the fun and magic!

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US.
  • Requires 15-25 hours per week, including at least one weekend day (ideally both).
  • Prior professional experience in retail, childcare, education, or performing arts.
  • Genuine enthusiasm, excitement, patience, warmth, joy, and humor when engaging with children and families.
  • A desire to transform retail alongside a tight-knit, mission-driven team.
  • Be on your feet and move continuously for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 45 pounds and climb ladders for stocking and merchandising.
  • Regularly bend, kneel, squat, and reach to engage with children and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Greet every family with a custom, high-energy welcome-your signature "magic door entrance" schtick is a must!
  • Actively play, interact, and demo products with families, turning browsing into a joyful, interactive journey.
  • Engage families in authentic conversations to understand their interests and needs. Curate personalized shopping experiences that drive sales and ensure they go home with the perfect items.
  • Run engaging family activities, including craft sessions, story time, and one-on-one help, managing all setup and cleanup.
  • Master full store operations, including the retail floor, cafe, back-of-house, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Model and coach exceptional customer service to the team, driving daily priorities and ensuring high morale across your shift.
  • Confidently resolve in-store situations, such as difficult customers, employee issues, or theft, knowing when to escalate complex matters to the General Manager (GM).
  • Directly support the leadership team in achieving business goals (KPIs), communicating store focus areas and needs.
