About The Position

The Key Accounts Manager at Symmetry Energy Solutions is responsible for optimizing margin opportunities with new and existing customers in targeted markets, focusing on industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. This role involves selling both standardized and non-standardized energy products, managing ongoing business relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying sales prospects and developing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a sales or marketing capacity, or equivalent energy industry experience.
  • Demonstrated successful track record of profitably selling and managing relationships with business customers.
  • Ability to analyze energy usage data and generate profitable proposals.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Proficiency in using software applications including email, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

  • Sell standardized and non-standardized energy products and services profitably to targeted end-use markets.
  • Identify and qualify sales prospects, make effective presentations, and close sales within an acceptable time frame.
  • Manage ongoing business relationships with assigned customer base by maintaining regular contact and resolving customer issues.
  • Promote incremental products and services to existing customers and negotiate creative customer solutions.
  • Support the internal service delivery system by working cooperatively with all team members.
  • Provide all necessary information to service customer agreements and ensure completion of all necessary customer agreements.
  • Seek and recommend new products and services proactively to increase profitability.
  • Assist with the development and testing of new products/services through continuous discovery of customer needs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers on an ongoing basis.
