About The Position

As a Key Account Specialist Manager at SGS, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Key Account Specialists within your assigned area. Your primary responsibilities will include the development, implementation, and management of processes that align with organizational goals, ensuring standardized systems and procedures are in place for designated schemes. You will supervise, select, train, develop, and motivate your team, serving as the primary point of contact for Key Account Specialists (KAS). This role requires you to execute yearly performance reviews and performance improvement plans (PIPs) as necessary, ensuring that your team is performing at optimal levels. In collaboration with the Operations team, you will create and maintain standardized systems, processes, and procedures for your area of responsibility. You will be responsible for maintaining forecast reports in comparison to budget expectations, ensuring that both scheduled and unscheduled work aligns with financial objectives. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics for Key Account Specialists will be a critical part of your role, as will providing input on solutions to enhance performance. You will be accountable for implementing necessary changes to improve operations. Your collaboration will extend to Technical, Audit Delivery, Operations, and Sales teams to execute strategic program objectives, ensuring that client needs are operationally supported in line with strategic and financial goals. You will also work with global teams to ensure that work streams from affiliates are understood and acted upon as agreed. Additionally, you will manage a select group of key clients similarly to how you manage KAS, maintaining close relationships with SGS affiliates to ensure local contracts are executed effectively. A key aspect of your role will also involve assisting in reducing outstanding past due invoices and securing payments from clients with the support of KAS.
