About The Position

The Key Account Sales Manager is responsible for developing and expanding DN Solutions’ presence within key corporate accounts by driving both commodity and high-end machine tool sales. This role requires strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with executive-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in machine tool sales within one or more of DN Solutions’ focus industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Defense, Energy, Medical, Electronics, Agriculture, and Semiconductor with particular emphasis on the unique requirements and processes of defense contracting organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (required)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the machine tool industry
  • At least 7 years of demonstrated success in sales or account management
  • Proven track record of success working with defense contracting companies and government contractors (e.g., GSA program, federal bid opportunities)
  • Established executive-level contacts and relationships within defense and related industries
  • Experience navigating defense industry procurement processes, contracts, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with current defense programs, trends, and future opportunities
  • Strong product knowledge in machine tools and related solutions
  • Deep understanding of defense industry purchasing and contract cycles
  • Ability to build and leverage networks with defense associations and industry organizations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to engage C-level executives and government stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Drive growth in high-end machine sales, including automation and turnkey solutions.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, including defense contractors, to maximize revenue potential.
  • Leverage understanding of government procurement processes, contracting requirements, and defense industry purchasing systems to position DN Solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with distributor partners to create and execute joint sales strategies; review outcomes quarterly.
  • Represent DN Solutions at industry trade shows, conferences, defense association events, and other networking forums.
  • Host key customers at DN Solutions’ headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Changwon, South Korea.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive stakeholders, often in coordination with sales teams.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence on product and regional trends, particularly within defense-related programs.
