About The Position

Their customers span many diverse markets: off-highway, agriculture, military, automotive, rail, oil and mining. They are seeking qualified candidates to join their Sales team and have an immediate opening for a Key Account Manager at their headquarters in Cleveland, OH. The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volume with existing and new accounts and/or market assignments, executing assigned sales goals and sales plans, and securing and maintaining product sales, effective agreements, and customer relationships. This role reports to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong teamwork, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct OEM sales
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
  • PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), CAD software (including Solidworks).
  • Must be able to travel overnight approximately 50% of time or as required.
  • Must have proven track record of exceptional job performance plus experience.
  • CRM and data analysis functional knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains strong client relationships with customer accounts and/or market assignments while meeting position objectives.
  • Actively promote sales of Presrite products to assigned customer accounts and/or market assignments.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Estimating, and internal departments to ensure customer specifications are satisfied.
  • Ensure Presrite products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of Presrite products, applications, features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Obtains specifications and approvals at assigned accounts to develop increased sales opportunities and margins.
  • Keeps management aware of changes that would affect the sale of Presrite products.
  • Assists in strategy planning to provide the products and service required for their assigned accounts or markets.
  • Provides sales presentations at all customer levels.
