Complementary Distribution Caterpillar complementary distribution is business line with purpose to deliver RETAIL diesel and gas gensets (recip) up to 200 kVA to USA market. Complementary distribution leverage on independent distribution network, working directly with customers and contractors to increase Caterpillar market participation in USA. About Complementary Distribution - Key Account Manager We are currently searching for Complementary Distribution - Key Account Manager in Irving, Texas. Key Account Manager manage business development and overall collaboration between Complementary Distribution business line and 3-5 selected key customers. Complementary Distribution product portfolio consist of Gas and Diesel gensets up to 200 kVA.

Requirements

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Bachelor degree in any technical or business field.

Nice To Haves

Master degree or/and MBA will be considered advantage.
5 + years sales or account management experience.
Knowledge of retail gas and diesel market & technology.
Previous experience in similar role will be considered advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage day to day business interaction between Complementary Distribution business line and 3-5 key customers.
Manage end to end business including technical clarification, commercial clarification, bidding process and contract negotiation (in collaboration with other departments).
Key Account Manager serve as single point of contact to selected key customers.
Participation on selected fares and conferences in tight collaboration with Complementary Distribution - marketing team.
Close collaboration with technical department (training, commissioning, service technicians, …).
