The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Retail Sales at PepsiCo is responsible for executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts. This role involves managing key customer relationships, negotiating agreements, and maximizing volume and revenue through fact-based selling methods. The KAM will also activate marketplace initiatives, analyze customer data to identify business opportunities, and work closely with the Selling Operations team to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Execute a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts.
  • Manage key customer relationships and negotiate customer agreements.
  • Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts using fact-based selling methods.
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development.
  • Analyze customer information and business trends using IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure customers comply with PBC contract requirements.
  • A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Consumer packaged goods experience.
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Safe driving record strongly preferred.
