About The Position

The Key Account Manager, Projects at DSV is responsible for being the primary point of contact for clients regarding the coordination, communication, planning, prioritization, monitoring, and reporting of door-to-door delivery of all procured materials related to project facilities. This role involves interfacing with clients, managing logistics, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials while addressing any operational challenges that may arise.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics, or Distribution Industry, with at least 3 years in Project Logistics in a management capacity.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced user skills in eDC, CargoWise, and C2C.
• Solid working knowledge of logistics services including order management, customs brokerage, and transport management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience in international transportation and logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the client to support annual load forecasting and storage requirements.
• Expedite and monitor DSV deliverables including quotes, booking details, and status updates.
• Review clients' Expediting Report to plan for future shipments and flag estimated transit durations and bottlenecks.
• Assist schedulers and planners with questions related to the Expediting Report and Construction Shipping Register.
• Attend weekly Client Procurement meetings to evaluate changes to plans and communicate logistics impacts.
• Ensure build-out of standard origin/destination pricing guides for project locations.
• Act as a conduit between the Houston team and the Alaska team to ensure awareness of deliveries and staging locations.
