About The Position

The position is responsible for driving the sales and profitability of the RS&I (Repair, Service & Inspection) business units and brands within Snap-on. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing market share in a defined geography and for a specific list of Key Accounts. This role requires a strong focus on customer experience and equipment sales, ensuring that the needs of Key Accounts are met effectively. The individual will coordinate sales and marketing activities across the RS&I business units to enhance sales performance in the designated territory. The successful applicant must reside within one hour of an airport due to the travel requirements of the role, which is estimated at 40%. The responsibilities include achieving sales and profitability goals, providing tactical plans for sales and promotion, and managing general business operations for assigned accounts. Direct interaction with Key Account Customers is essential, as is the ability to coordinate efforts across various business units to support these customers effectively. Leadership is a critical component of this role, as the individual will need to align the support team with the business direction and goals. Collaboration with team members is necessary to achieve set objectives, and the ability to follow through on commitments and solve problems is vital. The role also involves business development, where the candidate will develop and measure new programs that drive sales growth to Key Accounts, ensuring that services and equipment align with customer business objectives. Staying updated with industry standards and emerging technologies through professional development is also expected. Effective communication is key, as the candidate will need to build solid relationships with Key Accounts and internal business units, delivering presentations regularly to various stakeholders.
