About The Position

The Key Account Executive at Farmer Brothers is responsible for acquiring and managing national and large regional accounts across the United States. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, ensuring seamless implementation processes, and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies. The Key Account Executive acts as a trusted advisor and product expert, working closely with decision-makers to secure long-term agreements and achieve targeted returns on investment (ROIs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the restaurant or food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets of $2.5M+.
  • In-depth understanding of the restaurant industry and its trends.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with contract negotiation and managing large accounts.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of coffee and beverage industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute effective sales strategies tailored to assigned sales channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Customize and deliver product demonstrations based on customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with national clients for long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify and target potential new national accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for timely delivery of products.
  • Provide expert advice on product selection and usage to enhance customer experience.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
