About The Position

The Key Account Executive (KAE) for AMO Sales and Services, Inc. is responsible for achieving sales and MBO goals while building professional relationships with Academic and Government Customers, including Teaching Hospitals and VA Hospitals. This role focuses on growing sales and market share for AMO products, creating product advocates among key faculty and residents, and managing a large sales territory effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 2-4 years previous OR/Pharma sales experience is required.
  • 2-3 years of ophthalmology sales experience is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of cataract surgery and portfolio of cataract products.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing large sales territories.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and MBO goals in specified geography targeting Academic & Government Customers.
  • Build professional relationships with key attending faculty, program directors, and residents.
  • Grow sales and market share for AMO products including IOLS, OVD, Phaco, and CATALYS.
  • Manage compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.
  • Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and product champions within academic/government programs.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of cataract surgery and related products in operating room settings.
  • Create business plans to ensure high likelihood of achieving sales objectives.
  • Manage marketing and T&E budgets of approximately $150,000.
