Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the Key Accounts to achieve number 1 value contributor and sales target.
  • Understand and implement various selling processes including Strategic Account Management and Consultative Selling to meet or exceed planned metrics.
  • Participate in sales force training to gain sufficient animal health, disease and management knowledge.
  • Partner with Technical & Marketing to ensure sales, marketing and technical programs are implemented effectively for key accounts.
  • Cultivate and develop close customer relationships and share market knowledge with Marketing, Technical and National Sales Manager.
  • Proactively analyze and identify business opportunities/threats and seek support from NSM, Technical and Marketing.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints as per regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures when promoting products to protect the Elanco brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinarian or Animal Husbandry.
  • Prior working sales experience (minimum 7 years) in the animal health industry.
  • Demonstrated good track record in selling, marketing, feed distribution, farm management, or agriculture-related industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to work independently in planning and execution of account plans.
  • Experience in mentoring Key Account Representatives or Key Account Specialists.
