About the position

E2open is seeking an experienced Key Account Director to manage relationships with a select group of large Logistics Service Provider (LSP) clients. This role is crucial for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, promoting E2open's products and services to enhance client retention and satisfaction. The position requires collaboration with various departments to achieve sales goals and involves attending industry events to generate leads and stay informed about market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with clients and/or prospects
  • Build knowledge of e2open's products and business and continuously train/develop your skills
  • Maintain appropriate close plans for your opportunities
  • Engage appropriately with cross functional departments (Solutions Consulting, Legal, Sales Development, Professional Services, Development, etc) to achieve sales goals
  • Build pipeline and achieve annual quota
  • Understand outstanding contracts and negotiate future contracts
  • Maintain Salesforce
  • Maintain account plans for your accounts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on selling SaaS solutions, preferably in the supply chain / logistics management domain
  • Problem-solving and common-sense mentality to approaching solutions and ability to explain technical solutions in a non-technical environment
  • Previous experience creating proposals, negotiating, and renewing contracts
  • Superior communication skills (both written and oral) and comfortable presenting and speaking to senior-level executives
  • An outside of the box thinker with proven experience developing creative solutions to clients' out of the ordinary problems
  • Leadership skills with an empathetic approach
