About The Position
The Kettle Worker is to assist with the annual Salvation Army kettle effort, including standing kettles to collect donations and ensure that the kettle is protected until pick-up by the Corps Officer or official kettle personnel .
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
- Must have an understanding of and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
Nice To Haves
- Excellent Social skills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collects proceeds as directed from kettle donors.
- Collects proceeds from shoppers, merchants and other donators.
- Informs Corps Officer of problems, issues and complaints during the kettle season.
