About The Position
Okie Staffing is seeking a dependable Kettle Floor Assistant to support production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role assists kettle operators with material handling, batching, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in high-heat environments
- Basic math skills (including fractions and measurements)
- Ability to follow recipes, formulas, or written instructions
- Strong attendance and teamwork
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing, or industrial experience
- Forklift or overhead crane experience
Responsibilities
- Assist with adding raw materials and supporting kettle operations
- Clean kettles, tools, and maintain work area
- Monitor basic process conditions (temps, levels, timing)
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Perform basic inspections and report issues
- Complete production documentation accurately
