About The Position

The Kettle Driver will be responsible to assist the corps officer by providing for the safe pick up and transport of Bell Ringers and of red kettles to The Salvation Army every evening following Bell Ringer shifts.

Requirements

• Must possess an understanding and appreciation for the mission and ministry of The Salvation Army.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License
• Ability to drive for a few hours at time.
• Ability to follow directions and travel to each location safely and efficiently.
• Ability to drive a 12-passenger van.
• Complete Salvation Army defensive driving course and be added to the approved driver list.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• At least 21 years old with the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards
