About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care, a leading locally-owned agency, is seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional one-on-one support to clients in their homes. If you are passionate about helping others live with dignity and independence, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable, insured vehicle.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA or PCA is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a compassionate spirit.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients.
• A dependable, punctual, and professional approach to your work.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Be a friendly, reassuring presence, engaging in conversation, activities, and offering emotional support.
• Prepare nutritious meals, perform light housekeeping, and help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments, go grocery shopping, and assist with other errands.
• Provide medication reminders and carefully observe and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition.
