About The Position

We are seeking a Full Time Kennel Technician to join our team at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital-Simpsonville. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and wellness of our animal guests. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the animals, as well as providing excellent customer service to their owners. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our animal guests are comfortable and happy during their stay with us. This position is for mornings (7:30a-6:00p) and occasional weekends and Holidays.

Requirements

• Previous experience in animal husbandry and handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Experience with health and wellness of animals

Responsibilities

• Feeding and watering animals according to their specific dietary needs
• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and walking areas
• Assisting with animal bathing
• Assisting Veterinary Assistants and DVMs
