About The Position
Coursey Blvd Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This part-time position requires a commitment to providing excellent care for our animal patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care of dogs and cats, ensuring their well-being and comfort during their stay at the hospital. This role involves a variety of tasks, including feeding, walking, and bathing animals, as well as cleaning their living spaces to maintain a hygienic environment. The Kennel Technician will also assist veterinarians and other staff members during examinations and procedures, ensuring that animals are held safely and securely when needed. The position requires working weekdays, with rotating weekends and holiday shifts. The expected hours are between 15 to 20 hours per week, making it a suitable opportunity for individuals looking for part-time work in a rewarding environment. The pay for this position is set at $10.00 per hour, and the role is primarily in-person at our facility. We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about animal care but also willing to work as part of a team to provide the best possible service to our clients and their pets.
