About The Position

Join the Animology team as a Pet Wash Attendant and be part of something pawsome! We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking animal lover to guide clients through our self-wash process, share product and grooming tips, and ensure every pet leaves looking and feeling their best. You’ll also be responsible for assisting walk-in grooming clients, keeping the self-wash area clean and sanitized, assisting with laundry , kennel cleaning , and general salon upkeep to maintain a safe and welcoming space for pets and people alike. This is a physical, fast-paced role perfect for someone who thrives on movement, enjoys helping others, and finds satisfaction in a job well done. Requirements

• You genuinely love dogs and aren't afraid to get a little (okay, a lot) wet.
• You’re obsessed with cleanliness and notice every speck of dirt.
• You have strong customer service energy and like helping people feel confident and cared for.
• You can lift 50 lbs, be on your feet for hours, and handle both small pups and the occasional Great Dane with care.
• You’re not afraid of hustle – weekends and busy days don’t rattle you.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in grooming, vet clinics, dog daycare, or retail.

Responsibilities

• Greet every pet parent.
• Show customers how to safely and effectively use our professional bathing stations and drying tools.
• Wipe down, disinfect, and keep the area spotless, including kennels, laundry, walls, and general cleaning.
• Recommend the right brushes, shampoos, and de-shedding hacks.
• Help move pets to groomers, jump in with light nail trims, and assist around the store when needed.
• Follow safety protocols to keep everyone – human and canine – safe and smiling.
