Responsibilities

• Feed and provide fresh water to animals according to schedules and dietary instructions
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, bedding, and common areas
• Exercise animals through walking, playtime, or supervised yard time
• Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns to supervisors or veterinary staff
• Administer basic care such as grooming, bathing, or brushing when required
• Maintain accurate records of feeding, medications, and animal behavior
• Ensure animals are safe, secure, and comfortable in their enclosures
• Interact with pet owners and provide basic updates when needed
