About The Position

As Kennel Department Leader, you will oversee kennel operations while maintaining the highest standards of animal care. Responsibilities include:
Leading, training, and mentoring kennel staff
Coordinating schedules and workflow for daily boarding care (feeding, walking, cleaning, monitoring)
Ensuring clean, sanitary, and safe kennel environments
Assisting with bathing and basic grooming services (nail trims, ear cleanings, anal gland expression)
Supporting veterinary staff with safe pet handling and comfort care
Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health and addressing concerns promptly
Promoting a positive, professional team culture
This is an active, fast-paced leadership role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for animals.
