We are looking for a Part-Time Kennel Attendant to join our team and help create a clean, safe, and comforting environment for the pets staying in our care. This role plays an important part in the experience our patients have with us, ensuring every pet feels comfortable, calm, and well cared for during their stay. Requirements
- Have a genuine love for animals and a calm, patient presence
- Are dependable, responsible, and take pride in doing your work well
- Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting others
- Are comfortable staying active and moving throughout the day
- Do not mind getting a little messy and a lot of movement while helping animals (this is not a desk job!)
- Are eager to learn and grow in a veterinary environment
Responsibilities
- Providing daily care including fresh food, water, clean bedding, and attentive supervision
- Keeping kennels, runs, and animal areas clean, sanitized, and comfortable
- Walking dogs and providing enrichment and playtime
- Assisting with bathing and basic grooming when needed
- Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
- Replenishing supplies (food, bedding, cleaning materials - you name it)
- Helping with general housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and clinic cleaning
- Making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for during their stay
