The Tail Haven is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Kennel Attendants / Customer Service Representatives at our locations in Lafayette and San Rafael. This role is perfect for those who love dogs and are comfortable interacting with them. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our canine guests while also providing excellent customer service to their owners. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the check-in and check-out processes for hotel and daycare clients, scheduling reservations, and ensuring that all dogs are fed and receive their medications as required. You will also supervise group play, interact with the animals, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment for both the dogs and the facility. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will be expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering phones, collecting payments, and responding to customer inquiries. The job can be physically demanding and may involve dealing with messes and the occasional danger associated with working with animals. Therefore, we are looking for team members who can maintain a positive attitude and smile through the challenges. If you have experience in a commercial kennel or veterinary office, that will be beneficial, but we also welcome those who are eager to learn and grow in this rewarding field.
