Your day will include spending time with dogs, keeping their accommodations sanitary, supervising play in daycare, and ensuring each pet is happy and healthy. Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
- Excellent time management and fast-moving with a sense of urgency
- Genuine love and passion for caring for dogs.
- Flexible schedule, including open weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Support and uphold the mission and values of K9 Resorts.
- Deliver excellent care and attention to all dogs in daycare and boarding.
- Supervise and monitor the health and behavior of dogs.
- Keep all play areas, suites, and outdoor spaces clean and sanitary.
- Conduct body checks to identify pre-existing conditions or injuries.
- Remain active and on your feet for extended shifts (8+ hours).
- Assist with additional duties as directed by management, including:
- Running dogs to and from daycare or boarding to their owners.
- Providing individualized playtimes.
- Taking dogs outside for potty breaks.
