Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs, and animal holding areas.
- Monitor dogs and cats as instructed.
- Feed and provide fresh water to all pets according to specific dietary needs.
- Assist with bathing and basic grooming of animals.
- Monitor animal behavior and report signs of illness or distress to veterinary staff.
- Ensure all animals are safe, secure, and comfortable during their stay.
- Maintain laundry, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the kennel area.
- Support veterinary technicians and doctors with restraint during basic procedures as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols related to animal handling, sanitation, and disease prevention.
