About The Position

We are looking for a bright, motivated, experienced and energetic individual to add to our dedicated team of Technicians. As a Kendall Reconditioning / Used Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing safety inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work for internal dealership vehicles; all to ensure we provide our community with reliable, safe and high quality pre-owned automobiles. This being the center for used cars, you will have the exciting and unique opportunity to expand your skill set and work on a variety of makes, models and year ranges, performing an even wider range of repairs.

Requirements

• Mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Valid driver license and good driving record are required.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders.
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
• Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times.
• Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
