KDB Developer
About The Position
KDB Developer Duration: 12 Months - Understanding Q language syntax, data structures, datatypes - Proficiency in array-oriented programming - Knowledge on q-SQL and KDB specific joins (asof/window) - Understanding of KDB+ database concepts including knowledge of how data is stored, managed, and queried within the kdb+ database. - Understanding of performance optimization techniques in KDB - Proficiency in interprocess communication. - Standard kdb architecture, tickerplant, rdb, hdb, gateway, chained processes • Experience in managing large KDB+ system with petabyte scale of data and more than 500 users. • Experience with integrating KDB+ with real-time messaging systems (Solace/ION/Kafka) • Deep understanding of real-time market data feeds and data processing techniques. • Strong knowledge of financial markets, including Fixed Income, FX, and Equities. • Implement DevOps practices to automate the build, test, and deployment of KDB+ solutions. • Experience with using monitoring tools to track the performance and health of KDB+ systems like ITRS
