  • Program CNC machinery using Mastercam and other software to efficiently manufacture parts.
  • Perform machine setups for production work, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an organized program and tool library.
  • Inspect workpieces as needed for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and adjust machine settings to minimize downtime.
  • Work with the quality and design members to ensure production accuracy.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of process failures and recommend process improvements using statistical methods.
  • Implement mistake-proofing (poka-yoke) techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including participating in GEMBA walks and Kaizen events.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Mastercam (or equivalent CAM software).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and tolerancing.
  • Proven ability to optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC milling and turning, including setting up and troubleshooting programs.
  • Deep knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and material behaviors, particularly with stainless steel and other metals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, managing programming responsibilities in a production setting.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
