About The Position
Our organization is looking to fill an on-demand Karen interpreter position to help serve the Limited English Proficient population in our communities through language services. We offer our interpreters the ability to work on-demand hours as their availability allows. This is a hybrid role where you will take mostly in-person appointments, so we require you to live in the Milwaukee, WI area. We provide in-person, video (VRI), and telephonic (OPI) interpreter services to our customers in the medical, educational, and judicial fields. Most appointments are scheduled between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on weekdays, but as this is an on-demand position, working hours may vary day to day. As an interpreter or translator at International Languages, you'll be part of a supportive, diverse team committed to serving our communities through language. This means you'll enable patients to have meaningful access to their healthcare information and improve health equity through enabling patients to control communications about their health. You will support top facilities nationwide with compliance and cultural competence across healthcare, education, government agencies, insurance, and other industries.
