About The Position
AJC Logistics LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Operations Support Dispatcher at our Kano Trucking Services facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is essential for managing and supporting daily operations, ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks, and maintaining cost management for each shipment or load. The Operations Support role is crucial in providing superior customer service and operational efficiency, which are the cornerstones of our logistics services. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of operational and customer service duties. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries and scheduling deliveries. Your ability to communicate effectively with forwarders regarding deliveries, questions, and issues will be vital. You will also be responsible for invoicing, which includes creating and delivering invoices to customers through various channels such as mail, email, or uploading to our system. Additionally, you will manage essential paperwork, including container manifests and delivery receipts, ensuring that all office files are organized and easily accessible. Tracking outgoing deliveries and ensuring accurate documentation will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with customers, shippers, receivers, agents, and third parties to ensure proper routing of freight and to address any requests for extra services. This role may also involve other duties as assigned, making it a dynamic and engaging position within our operations team.
