The Supply Chain Leader plays a key role in driving efficient planning, logistics, and inventory management at our Kalamazoo site. This position is crucial for overseeing all planning activities at the manufacturing site, including production scheduling, raw material planning, inventory management, SMOG management, order promise dates, and escalation management within the 0-4 month horizon. The role also involves managing logistics operations and ensuring safe, efficient warehouse management, standardizing best practices in logistics using SAP. Additionally, the Supply Chain Leader will coordinate production scheduling decisions and communications with cross-functional teams to maximize OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance for customers, develop and execute inventory plans to meet business requirements and working capital targets, and lead customer rate readiness reviews at the site level while championing safety and best practices in all supply chain activities.

  • Oversee all planning activities at the manufacturing site, including production scheduling, raw material planning, inventory management, SMOG management, order promise dates, and escalation management within the 0-4 month horizon.
  • Manage logistics operations and ensure safe, efficient warehouse management, standardizing best practices in logistics using SAP.
  • Coordinate production scheduling decisions and communications with cross-functional teams to maximize OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance for customers.
  • Develop and execute inventory plans to meet business requirements and working capital targets, focusing on key metrics such as days on hand (DOH) and percent SMOG.
  • Lead customer rate readiness reviews at the site level.
  • Champion safety and best practices in all supply chain activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of supply chain or operations experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • APICS certification and/or MBA preferred.
