This position will work the night shift, 6pm – 6am, Sunday-Tuesday, including alternating Wednesday. We are looking for a Kaizen Coordinator to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Manager and is based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Requirements

  • Passion for Continuous Improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in commonly used and specialized software
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high-paced, changing environments
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred
  • Must be able to bend, lift up to 25 lbs, walk, and stand for extended periods of time consecutively

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, and process improvement events on the production floor
  • Analyze current-state processes, identify waste, and implement sustainable process improvements
  • Implement and sustain 5S standards through daily audits and competitions
  • Create and maintain value stream maps to improve material and process flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics, and engineering
  • Track and report key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
  • Build and assemble parts as needed to support manufacturing operations
  • Engage employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement
