Your role as a K4 Classroom Teacher As a Full-Time K4 Classroom Teacher at James Island Christian School in Charleston, SC, you will create a safe and nurturing preschool environment that promotes development in young learners. This role is dedicated to offering students enriching opportunities to learn through play, thus enhancing their social and motor skills while preparing them for a successful transition to kindergarten. Requirements

Deliver engaging and effective instruction based on developmentally appropriate practices
Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support
Maintain accurate records of growth, development, attendance, and communication with students and parents
Foster a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom environment
Communicate regularly with parents and school staff
Participate in department meetings and professional development as required
Uphold school policies, values, and mission
