We are seeking a K2 Line Operator to join our team in Byhalia, MS. This position is a 12-hour shift, 5AM-5PM, with a 2-2-3 rotation. Ready to help build a better future for generations to come?   • Operate and maintain the K2 area seamlessly, overseeing the entire process from the Collection Drum to the stacker, ensuring top-notch safety, quality, and output standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain product quality by meticulously monitoring specifications such as thickness, density, binder, and oil content. Adjust settings based on QC test results to ensure products align closely with specifications.
  • Oversee the entirety of the production line, including the Recycle System, through WinCC software. This encompasses various critical components like the Curing Oven, Cooling Zone, Afterburner, Line Weights, Binder System, and meticulous Rock Fact registrations.
  • Procure granulated wool as needed, maximizing allowable amounts while adhering to visual and strength restrictions for product integrity.
  • Adhere to the production schedule unless directed otherwise by the Supervisor, ensuring smooth transitions during product changes with minimal waste.
  • Monitor production screens, keeping a close eye on pressures and temperatures, and promptly addressing any deviations that arise.
  • Monitor the Cooling zone and determine filter replacement requirements, maintaining optimal working conditions.
  • Maintain clear communication with K1 regarding primary wool quality and condition, promptly informing both K1 and the Supervisor of any offline requirements.
  • Execute Start-up, Rounds, and Shutdown checklists diligently as scheduled, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Provide comprehensive updates to subsequent shifts on ongoing issues or pending tasks requiring attention.
  • Conduct thorough 'Technical Stop' cleanings of equipment from the Collection Drum to the Stacker Outlet to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as required or assigned by the Production Supervisor or Production Lead.

  • Proficient in operating production equipment with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Skilled in machine setup and adept with computer systems.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting equipment issues in a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge in a continuous flow automated manufacturing process.
  • Capable of comprehending and interpreting written product specifications with precision.
  • Driven to optimize output by leveraging key performance indicators.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments with minimal oversight.
  • Self-motivated with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Able to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague.
