About The Position

This person will lead a team of Sales Account Managers (K12 Foodservice) in the Central Region in pursuit of corporate and division sales objections and team member personal development. They will also work with internal departments to expand and grow our business with existing and new customers and help create a competitive advantage in their market. Location/Scope : Candidate must be located in the Central Region; AR, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MN, MS, OK, OH, NE, ND, SD, TN, WI. Candidates located in Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Missouri, or Tennessee and near a major airport are highly preferred .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years sales experience Food Service Manufacturing, Distributor or broker sales.
  • Standard computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking, solution oriented, negotiation skills, understanding of motivational leadership skills and conflict resolution skills.
  • 25-40% Travel

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with experience in management, K-12 sales, and commodity reprocessing are highly preferred.
  • Candidates located in Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Missouri, or Tennessee and near a major airport are highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key customers within their specific market
  • Work directly with customers to offer valuable solutions, by implementation of sales strategies resulting in increased product knowledge and sales growth.
  • Manage through a direct sales team, all customer initiatives and needs.
  • Maintain and further develop relationships to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead, coach and manage a direct regional Tyson Sales Team to deliver sales plan objectives.
  • Achieve sales plan through volume growth plans and business review with customers.
  • Other duties include but not limited to, creation and execution against a list of assigned customers, maintain and track progress using CRM took, ensure customer sales support for customer events, meetings/presentations and product sampling.
