About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related area is required.
• Must hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina Teacher Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to establish and maintain positive relationships focused on student learning.
• Designs instruction to ensure student engagement and participation in learning objectives.
• Develops and guides learning in partnership with students to ensure continuous improvement in alignment with standards.
• Evaluates individual and class performance to adjust instruction for improvement.
• Implements best practice instruction and resources to enhance student learning.
• Maintains documentation and reports to comply with regulations and policies.
• Manages classroom structure and procedures to create a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Models positive behaviors to promote appropriate social and interpersonal conduct.
• Oversees assistant teachers and volunteers to support effective classroom operations.
• Participates in meetings to convey and gather information for performance functions.
• Responds to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
